For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

You  mean the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

We  (referred to as either "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to the app developer team, Changsha Shenguangyuan Technology Co., Ltd..

Application  means the software program provided by Us downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Timestamp Camera Time & GPS (also shown in-app as Timestamp Camera, package name: com.shenguangyuan.watermarkcamera).

Service  refers to the Application.

Personal Data  is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

Device  means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

Do Not Track  (DNT) is a concept that has been promoted by US regulatory authorities, in particular the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), for the Internet industry to develop and implement a mechanism for allowing internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites.

2. App Permissions and Information Collection

App Permissions Involved

Camera (Necessary)

To allow You to take photos or videos directly within the Application for adding time and GPS watermarks.

 

Location (Optional)

Location permission is used for geographic watermarking and map display. If denied, related functions will be unavailable, but it does not affect basic photo taking or time watermarking. The Application accesses your location data only while the app is in use to ensure accurate data synchronization for watermark processing. To provide accurate location watermarks and map displays, we integrate the Google Maps SDK. Google may collect and process your location information and device identifiers for these purposes.

 

Media & Export (Optional)

To allow you to import album photos to add Time & GPS watermarks or use the Professional PDF/ZIP Export feature, the app may request access to your storage. We only access the specific photo or video files you select for watermarking or reporting purposes.

 

Microphone (Optional)

To record audio during video shooting when You use the video recording feature with watermarks.

 

Information Collection

The information We collect and process depends on how You use Our Service.

The information You actively provide during your use of Our app

You can freely create PhotoProof documentation plans and work record history logs using our app and the PhotoProof data is only stored locally on your device. Besides, We will collect some operating information when you interact with Our App, including the button click and page view. We use this information to provide You with personal service and improve Our App, including general settings You make (such as your choice of preferred language) and the time and duration of your activities on Our Service (which can help Us improve features that You may pay less attention to).

The Information You actively provide when you send feedback

If You want to send feedback to us to improve your using experience, we may collect your email address (provided by you), anonymous GUID, screenshots or attachments you upload, and usage data such as theme type, App Version, system version, device model, and language. system version, device model, screen size, language, country, app language, device, time zone, network, account, and whether you subscribed, removed the ads. This information is not mandatory; we do NOT collect it unless you consent to provide feedback. We retain this feedback data (including your email, anonymous GUID, and screenshots) only for as long as necessary to resolve your issue, and we will delete this data from our systems periodically within one month of resolution.

3. How Do We Share the Information

We may involve third-party service providers to operate and improve our Application. These providers may process data on our behalf under data processing agreements when necessary. Currently, our providers include Google Analytics for Firebase (for analytics and diagnostics; privacy info: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy) and our Infrastructure/Database Hosting provider: 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. We do NOT sell your personal data to any third parties, as well as Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app stability and performance. These services may collect data such as crash logs, device information (e.g., event behavior data, application instance identifiers, device model and OS version), and app instance identifiers to help us troubleshoot and fix bugs.

To support and maintain Our Service, We may involve Google and Meta to provide You with personalized ads. Google and Meta may collect certain personal data (online identifier and ip address) for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention purposes. Please note that these third-party partners will access your information only to perform their tasks and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Rest assured, Google and Meta will request your consent before collecting, using or sharing your personal data/identifiable information (like ip address or identifier). If You decline to share your personal data, they will not access your personal data for personalized ads. You could opt out of the personalized ads on the settings, however, please note that You may still see ads after turning off this option, but the relevance of ads will be reduced.

To provide accurate weather information and time synchronization, the Application may request data from api.open-meteo.com (Weather Service) and access time.google.com for NTP time calibration.

AdMob by Google is provided by Google LLC. For information on how Google Mobile Ads SDK collects, uses and shares your data, please visit: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure. You can opt-out by following: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=en.

Meta Ads (Facebook) is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from the Service and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads.  For more information on Meta's privacy practices, please visit: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

 

We also collect Google Play Referrer data to attribute ad clicks and installations for marketing analysis.

 

Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we may use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details.   That information is provided directly to Our third-party payment processors whose use of your information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

 Google Play In-App Payments

We use Google Play Billing to process your purchases safely. Google may collect certain information to facilitate these transactions, including transaction details and application instance identifiers, as well as device information. This data is used to provide and improve payment services, verify purchase status, and ensure fraud prevention. For more information, please visit: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. We use Google Play Billing to manage and process your payments for premium features. It may collect transaction data, device information, and application instance identifiers to facilitate the transaction, verify purchase status, and prevent fraud.

When You use Our Service to pay for a product and/or service via bank transfer, We may ask You to provide information to facilitate this transaction and to verify your identity.

Except the following cases, we will not share your information with any other third parties without your consent unless the following situations:

To fulfill legal obligations, disclose to the authorities;

To prevent you from being exposed to significant danger or disadvantages while not possible to get your authorization in time;

the disclosure is anonymized and cannot be directed to you personally; and

in other cases permitted by laws and regulations.

4. How Do We Use the Information

We highly value your experience with Our App and are always trying to improve current features and keep adding new features that Our users want from time to time. Information We collect will help Us understand what to improve and how We can improve. We may use the information for the following purposes:

To provide and improve Our Service,  such as personalize the content You receive in the App;

To see if Our App is working correctly  and troubleshoot and fix it when its not;

To provide You with helpful user support  if You send Us feedback about any questions You may have while using Our App;

For the performance of a contract:  the development, compliance, and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items, or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service;

If you have enabled notifications, we may communicate with You via push notifications regarding PhotoProof verification status, new watermark templates, and report generation updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation;

To provide You with news, special offers, and general information  about other goods, services, and events which We offer that are similar to those that You have already purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.

For business transfers:  We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Our assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company. However, before the formal business transfer could take place, You have Our promise that We will give You 2-week notice of the proposed transfer and the basic details of the transferee company and the different Privacy Policy You will be subject to, and You will have at least two weeks to decide whether You wish to keep your Account or to delete your Account and data completely before business transfer settlement.

Law enforcement:  We share information with law enforcement agencies, public authorities, or other organizations if Were required by law to do so or if such use is reasonably necessary. We will carefully review all such requests to ensure that they have a legitimate basis and are limited to data that law enforcement is authorized to access for specific investigative purposes only.

5. Retention of the information

How long We will keep your information depends on the types of the data.

The Information You actively provide during your use of Our app

If You only store your data on your Device and do not use the backup feature, You can delete the PhotoProof logs in the History interface or reset your watermark template settings;

The Information You actively provide when you send feedback

Regarding the feedback data You actively provide, We will retain it only for as long as is necessary and We will delete it periodically for a month.

6. Why and How Do We Transfer the Information

Your information is processed at our operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to  and maintained on  computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of your information will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place.

7. How Do We Protect the Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your information. We use the following information security measures to protect:

System vulnerability scanning and penetration testing;

Protect data integrity;

Organizational and legal measures.

The security of your information is important to Us, but please note that all Internet-based methods of data transfer and storage are not 100% secure. There are risks associated with any transfer of your information. We keep working to develop additional techniques to protect your information, but it is difficult for Us to guarantee the absolute security of the Internet.

Generally, We do not store user data on our servers, except for information actively submitted via the "Feedback" feature (including text, email, attachments, device info, and anonymous GUID), which is stored on our backend for troubleshooting purposes.

You also have the right to object where We are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes

Do Not Sell My Personal Data

We do not sell personal data. Please note that any opt out is specific to the browser You use. You may need to opt out of every browser that You use.

We do not track Our customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising directly. However, when You use the Service, third-party advertising companies (such as Google and Meta) may display interest-based advertising using information collected about your online activities over time across multiple websites or applications. Therefore, Our Service does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
If You wish to opt out of the use of your personal data for interest-based advertising purposes, You may do so by following the instructions in Section 3 How Do We Share the Information.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that your child has provided Us with personal data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
